Uno-Matic replaces the older version Duo-Matic.

The differences between Unomatic and Duomatic include enhanced safety, longer lifespan, and better ergonomics, evident from the twisted handle which is also rubber-coated for a more comfortable grip during opening.

The primary function of this car part is to connect the vehicle's air brake system with a trailer’s brake equipment.

Suitable for use between lorries and trailers or towing vehicles and caravans.

It can also be used to connect other components requiring air pressure, such as between a lorry and a hook-lift body for those with air outlets.

In such cases, one would use a separate connection, not the normal brake line used for trailers.

The housing is made of aluminium which is hard-anodised to provide the best protection against corrosion and wear.

Additionally, the internal valve package that connects the air is treated with a surface treatment to meet high demands, including frost damage prevention. They come with protective caps and have well-functioning drainage holes.

This coupling features a check valve.
